Cherry Glamping - Luxury tented accommodation & Venue in the Elgin Valley, Overberg, Western Cape

Cherry Glamping is based on a small game farm in Elgin and is the ideal destination for a unique forest wedding weekend; relaxed birthday celebration; team building; or any other group get together.

Cherry Glamping is conveniently located just off the N2 and about an hour away from Cape Town, it is the perfect spot to find the trailblazing new you or return refreshed with a new vision for life.

We offer luxury tented accommodation and various venue options. 

Our beautiful and spacious Bell tents are permanently setup amongst the trees and can accommodate up to 80 people in our tents and cabin. 

We can add more tents if more accommodation is required. Venue options include a glass enclosed venue, a Bedouin tent covered deck in a forest, forest ceremony areas, beautiful open spaces and sundowner areas.

No venue fee is applicable and you have exclusive use of all facilities on the farm during your stay.

CHERRY GLAMPING ACCOMMODATION

Dennebos Camp

Dennebos Camp consists of 15 spacious and fully furnished Bell tents. Tents are fully equipped with comfortable twin beds, cotton linen, towels, extra blankets, luggage rack, bed-end table, bedside tables with lamps, chairs and coat hook. The 3 shared bathrooms all offer views of the valley, and there is a fully equipped kitchen for your use.

Dennebos venue area includes a large covered deck comfortably seating up to 80 people; a lounge with a 24 seater table and fireplace; and a Boma with firepit. 

There are also 2 pools, surrounded by lawn and with a wide view over the valley.

For weddings Dennebos has a "lone tree" on the hill ideal for your ceremony or pre-drinks, a Poplar Tree Chapel overlooking the mountains, and a room for brides to prepare. The camp itself is in a pine forest, which is perfect if you want a "forest wedding".

Bloekombos Camp

Bloekombos consists of 24 spacious and fully furnished Bell tents. Tents are fully equipped with comfortable twin beds, cotton linen, towels, extra blankets, luggage rack, bed-end table, bedside tables with lamps, chairs and coat hook. There are 4 shared bathrooms, and 2 fully equipped kitchens.

Bloekombos has a large glass enclosed venue that seats up to 150 people. The venue opens up to a Boma and fire pit on the one side; and a large lawn and dam on the other side. The venue offers 360° views and opens up all around to create an outdoor feeling even though you are protected against the elements. Lots of open spaces also allows you to set up an outdoor styled area for small festivals or larger functions. Our animals regularly wanders down to the dam for a drink!

Koraal Huisie

Koraal Huisie is a tiny cabin with a woodfired hot tub, en suite bathroom and kitchenette. It offers spectacular views of the valley and complete privacy from the 2 camps. Koraal Huisie forms part of the group booking and is ideal for the wedding couple. Relax in a woodfired hot tub while overlooking the mountains in complete privacy.

EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES AT CHERRY GLAMPING

We offer various venue options in the 2 different forest camps. Venue options include a glass enclosed venue, seating up to 150 persons, a Bedouin tent covered deck in a forest, seating up to 100 persons, beautiful open spaces, sundowner areas, and various options for wedding ceremonies.

No venue fee is applicable; a venue fee only applies to guests not staying over. You have exclusive use of all facilities on the farm, allowing you to host your guests at different areas during your stay.

For the wine lovers, there is easy access to the Elgin’s famous wine and fruit valley to satisfy the thirst of indulgence and adventure.
