Inn on Highlands is a peaceful apple farm nestled in the heart of the Elgin Valley ±70km out of Cape Town. Offering self-catering accommodation for up to 59 guests and is the perfect blank canvas for any event from weddings, corporate conferences, film and still shoots, private functions.

Our spacious grounds with panoramic views of rolling hills, fruit baring orchids and inhabited dams offer activities such as fishing, canoeing, walks and photography for wonderful memories. We are a family run business and strive to provide our clients with the best service and atmosphere in our beautiful valley.

Inn on Highlands Accommodation

There are 12 units to choose from, and in total can accommodate 67 guests sharing. All of the units are tastefully decorated, with high-quality linen and finishes. All of the cottages feature a well-equipped kitchen to prepare and cook meals. 

There are 7 luxury cottages which are situated around the tranquil bass inhabited dam, offering fishing on a catch and release basis and swimming. There are 6 standard units, which are separate from the other cottages. Some of these standard units have partial views of the dam, and surrounding farms and mountains. 

A portable braai is available for each cottage.  Mr Silver cottage has a kol-kol hot fire tub. 

The property also offers free Wi-Fi Internet. 

Weddings & Functions 

When booking our venue for your special day, you have exclusivity of the establishment for the entire weekend. 

Inn on Highlands is an ideal wedding location, easily accessible from the N2, with breathtaking scenery for still and video shoots.

The venue can facilitate up to 70 guests indoor and up to 120 outdoor utilising an enchanting beduin tent. The wedding party has the choice to hire in their own decor or decor can be arranged by us using local suppliers.

Leading up to the deck off from a large 500m² green manicured lawn surrounding the beach and dam is our restaurant and entertainment venue with a large fully equipped kitchen. Catering can be provided and a fully licensed rustic cash bar is available on the day. Ample parking is available for guests.

Conferencing / Teambuilding

Highlands lends itself to any type of corporate event or conference be it year-end parties, team-building sessions or product launches. The estate is situated only 1 hour from Cape Town, and has ample parking, a conference room equipped with television, projector screen and wifi.

Film & Stills Shoots

The perfect outdoor, farm-style setting for still or film shoots. Highlands space is unique and versatile. The light and energy of the natural surroundings facilitate a stunning outdoor studio with uninterrupted views all year round.
